Become a Member of Our Community

A members-only platform to connect families, foster relationships, and preserve the cultural identity of the Biradari across generations

Why Become a Member

Becoming member is a commitment, discovery, expansion and connecting to our embedded side.

There are only two things for which we have some certainty. One is our ancestry and the other our moorings for our cultural and values. While the world is moving fast to microprocessor-based communications and relationships over- layered by complex layers of stakeholders (both personal and professional), we can choose to commit to (without judgement) the stock we are coming from i.e. to be what we anyway are!

When we do that, we instantaneously connect and interact with a Biradiri where both acceptance and opportunity to thrive is wholesomely available.

Come be where you already are!

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about membership, verification, privacy, and community access.
1. What is KPA ?

KPA Delhi was formed in the early 1900 at the central city of undivided India, i.e. Lahore.

Eventually it got registered at Delhi with the office of Registrar of Societies in 1940.

Since its formation KPA catered to the entire Biradiri pan India including those Biradiri Members spread over Gwalior, Kota, Ratlam, Banda, Allahabad, Banaras, Lucknow, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Jaipur, Punjab, Maharashtra even overseas without much the need of formal memberships and structures as all contributed more as a Biradiri then as members of a particular Association or a Body. During much of the time the local chapters operated as independent groups in their own towns and cities.

In the last decade KPA recognized the need of a pan India platform which could appeal to the younger generation and also to put forth a more heritage driven narrative which is not directly or only linked to various or a particular migration, but also provide a mainstreaming of all those, who continue to maintain their affinity to their roots and identity.

For this purpose, KPA saw the need to make the legacy of the Biradiri more contemporary thus recognizing the vibrant continuity, transitioning and transformation of the Biradiri since the 1500’s. KPA is driven by the belief that this is the best celebration and preservation of its links to the land of Sharda and the Neelum Valley.
